Birthday dinners

Its 2:30 am and just a few minutes ago I wanted nothing more then to lay in bed, dream, and of course drool. But as I finally rest my head and think about my night, I can’t help but stay awake. At the risk of sounding chessy, what I am about to say comes from the deepest part of my heart. ( And let’s face it I don’t do this very often lol) I am SO incredibly honored and humbled for the people I have around me. My best friend mel goes on a mission for me every year, yet she doesn’t complain about the fact that we couldn’t speak more then two words at dinner. She buys me flowers and cake and shows up to restaurants early and buys me a bucket full of jars filled with the things I love. Jackie got ready in lightening speed just to be there on time, and she still managed to look fabulous. Jenny found out an hour before about my dinner yet still made it on time and with a smile on her face. Josh got off work at 8 and hauled butt from freaking broward county just to be a part of my day. Pastor Mike and Celi got out of a bunch of things they had planned just to be sure they made it, and to top it off they wouldn’t let me pay my bill! Rudy, despite having an awful week, pushed through and showed up with camera ready. My brother who is the most antisocial human being ever agreed to come along and even admitted to having a good time. Dayli and Edgar drove from freaking homestead even though she had already thrown me a party the day before at work. Marisol got out of a family party and sold out her husband just to come and bring my twins along. Laura and Jesus who alwaysssss sell out lol CAME lol and I was beyond excited to see them. Gimena in the midst of her moving and the craziness that surrounds that showed up with a smile on her face and those great hugs she always gives. Gaby and Melissa begged to come out because they were almost forbidden due to it being Good Friday and all. Janelle in the midst of crazy studying came even if just for a bit. .That’s not even the whole list. Point is, I am so humbled that people would come out of there way for me. I don’t say that so you think I’m all humble and crap. I just really can’t believe people find me worthy enough of even coming to a restaurant and sharing a meal with me, much less go out of their way. Its very very humbling and I’m not worthy of any of it, I know that much. I know that I don’t deserve to have my niece, because she is far too beautiful and perfect to fathom. Jesus, if you read my blog, THANK YOU. Thank you because you know that all I wanted was to be with my niece and you gave me that and so much more. You gave me two tables filled with people who see the worst in me and love me anyways. You have given me more love then I can ever wrap my head around. You have given me friendship and laughter and joy. You have given me a whole mess of beautiful people who’s love I will never be worthy of.
